Cultivating his dark, progressive sound as a DJ in the States, UK-import Jav D has rapidly established himself as a talent on the rise. His mix programs on XM satellite radio and Di.FM over the past two years have solidified his standing in the EDM community. Bouncing from gigs in Washington DC, Miami, San Diego (with jaunts to England and Holland), Jav has rocked floors from coast to coast and "across the pond." He created ’smü[th] music in 2004 to brand his signature sound and further his ambitions as a DJ and producer. Working intimately with Markus Schulz, Lange, and Departure, he has feverishly honed his production skills over the last year, resulting in current and upcoming releases on Coldharbour Recordings and Fiberline Audio. His brooding electro, throbbing bass and dark overtures meshed well with Davis’ rock edge, igniting a wildfire of collaborative originals and remix projects. Their first official release "Making Waves" will be featured on Fiberline.
