- No Now Is So , published by FMR, is the first recording of the Alexander Hawkins' Ensemble, a project formed by A. Hawkins (Piano,Compositions), Hannah Marshall( Cello), Otto Fischer (Guitar), Orphy Robinson (Steel Drum, Percussion), Dominic Lash (D.Bass) and Carmona on drums.

- SomeDectet is a new large ensemble formed by Hannah Marshall, Alison Blunt, Gail Brand, Nick Malcolm, Alex Bonney, Alex J Ward, Alexander Hawkins , Mark Hanslip ,Ntshuks Bonga, Shabaka Hutchings, Dominic Lash and Olie Brice.

- During 2006 starts playing with japanese pianist Tsukiko Amakawa in a duo project with a recent performance during the international festival of improvised music Hurta Cordel, in Madrid.

- IMPROBEAT Is a project conceived by Matthew Lovett and supported by Newport University: "ImproBeat is music for the head and music for the body. Free improvisation and dance music might seem like they’re from different and mutually exclusive worlds – but all music is for celebrating and coming together. ImproBeat is a free-dance club night where thinking and dancing combine. A live performance featuring Javier Carmona (drums / percussion), Nic Finch (Visuals), Kamil Korolczuk (turntable / live electronics) and Matthew Lovett (computer). ImproBeat combines the dynamism of free improvisation with the energy of dance music, to make music that evolves and pushes forward, creating a new space for listening and moving".

Starting on the rock side (still going): Has played in several bands from Madrid such as Rag Cutter & Fukc, Pantasma or a brief colaboration with Soul Bisontes. Currently taking walks on the mite rock with Murky (guitar) on the mite rock duo Grimorio.

Often colaborates with guitar player and composer Antonio Luis Guillén, in projects such as the Proyecto Abba, ritual performances of improvised music IN and FOR the Desert of Tabernas (Almeria), Jun y Gor or colaborations with Sefronia.

Turning to Jazz and Free Jazz: With San Francisco Saxophonist and composer Alex Weiss(Gallopinto), as well as colaborations with different musicians of the Spanish jazz scene such as Francisco López (Loque), Carlos Rossi, Jon López de Vicuña, Jorge Frías, Marcos Monge, Rodrigo Campaña, Juan Jarén (the last three, members of first formation of Akafree), among others.

His colaboration with soprano saxophonist,percussionist and composer Chefa Alonso starts on 2002 (still goin')with the free jazz project Akafree. They also work together as duo and colaborate on different formations of free improvisation.

Has also participated in projects such as Dadajazz.

Into free improvisation: Member of spanish improvisers association Musicalibre and its improvisers orchestra F.O.C.O., also belongs to the London Improvisers Orchestra and has an intense activity on the Improvisation scene of England and Europe, playing with musicians as Evan Parker, Steve Beresford, Ingrid Laubrock, Marjolaine Charbin, Ashley Wales, Gail Brand, Dave Tucker, Alison Blunt, Tony Bevan, John Edwards, David Leahy, Roland Ramanan, John Russell, Ian Smith, Orphy Robinson, Ricardo Tejero, Robert Jarvis, Tom Arthurs, Pat Thomas, Marcio Mattos, Nick Stephens, Jean Michel von Schowburg, among many others.
