De formación musical autodidacta co-fundó el grupo Iyawó en 1999 con el que laboró hasta el 2006. Se ha presentado con grupos y artistas como Antonio Cabán Vale “El Topo”, Roy Brown, Zoraida Santiago, Mikie Rivera, Papo Gely, Sol y Canto y varios cantautores de la Cooperativa Taller Cé. Como percusionista ha participado en sobre 15 grabaciones entre ellas “Amigos del Alma” de Danny Rivera y “El Topo”, nominada el premio Grammy. Actualmente de desempeña como Principal Ejecutivo de Taller Cé (Cooperativa de Cantautores) www.tallerce.com, y se presenta con las agrupaciones de El Topo, Zoraida Santiago, Somos Tres y Blues Montuno.

Iyawó es un grupo puertorriqueño con grandes influencias de la nueva trova y la música afrocaribeña. Con una base de guitarra y percusión, el grupo fusiona estos elementos, al tiempo que permite un acercamiento a una nueva generación de cantautores.

"De Flores y Estrellas...", es un texto de Lauryliz González que revive un personaje real y otro literario. Erasto, un amigo alto, divertido, músico y artista, paciente de cáncer y El Principito, un hombrecito de cabellos color de oro que ríe y ama a una flor.
Sencillos y sensibles, ambos, viven en las estrellas y son protagonistas de esta historia.
La pieza, que se ha desarrollado en una combinación de teatro y cine, establece un juego entre la realidad y la fantasía que apuesta a la sensibilidad de las personas.
Con música en vivo, estaremos desde el miércoles 23 al viernes 25 de mayo a las 8pm en el Teatrito de la UPR… Que al fin tiene aire.
