With the shouting „Wir sind das Volk“ („We are the people“) on lips, in autumn 1989, couraged eastgerman demonstrants tore down the Berlin Wall and changed the world. The „Iron Curtain“ fell down. But as time went by, pure greedy money could not make the world a very better place. 2008 - now greedy money and banksters led us into a world financial crisis. Millions are suffering. The climate change threatens our kids and us. Can we eat money? Can we drink money? Can we breath money? Should we let money decide about all our lifes? Its time to remember ... WE ARE THE PEOPLE. You and me.

JAX - EAST AND WEST GO TOGETHER
Marnie and Andy T., the voices of JAX, both have a very personal connection to the Berlin Wall. Marnie was born 1989 in eastberlin shortly before the wall came down. History let her grow up in one free country. Andy T. knows the wall from many years in former Westberlin. A chilling and powerful musical event of 2 different generations with a critical eye on today.


20 YEARS WORLD HISTORY IN ONE SONG - FREEDOM AND PEOPLE POWER!
The song „We changed the world“ of the Berlin Duo JAX brings back atmosphere and emotions of the change of 1989, by the original sounds of demonstrants and the famous sentence of east german politician Günther Schabowski („Private journeys into foreign countrys … are allowed immediately“), with a critical eye on today („Banksters crashed all the world“). Even the chancellor of change Helmut Kohl appears again in the song …great emotions …
The chilling and extraordinary Crossover Sampler ..Project D.. brings remixes of the song in different languages (german, englisch, chinese, farsi) and styles (Pop, Techno, Elektro, Disko) interpreted by international artists living in berlin.
Fall of Berlin Wall, Liberty and People Power get a new actual musical background to remember legend and possibilty of peaceful revolution. A part of the income goes to Amnesty International, to support protection of human rights. .

Mit dem Ruf „Wir sind das Volk“ stürzten im Herbst 1989 mutige DDR-Demonstranten die Berliner Mauer und veränderten die Welt. Doch Geld allein löst nicht alle Probleme. 2008 - bis heute hat die Gier von Kapital und Bankstern die Welt in ein Chaos geführt. Klimawandel bedroht uns und unsere Kinder. Können wir Geld essen? Können wir Geld trinken? Können wir Geld atmen? Sollten wir das Geld alles entscheiden lassen? Zeit für neue Veränderungen ... Wir sind das Volk. Du und ich.

OST UND WEST VEREINT
Marnie und Andy T., die Stimmen von JAX, haben beide eine ganz persönliche Beziehung zur Berliner Mauer. Marnie wurde 1989 kurz vor Mauerfall in Ostberlin geboren. Die Geschichte ließ sie frei aufwachsen im ungeteilten Land. Andy T. kennt die Mauer aus vielen Jahren Westberlin. Ein spannendes und mitreißendes musikalisches Erlebnis aus 2 Generationen mit einem kritischen Auge auf die heutige Welt.

Der Song „Wir sind das Volk“ (WSDV) vom Berliner Duo JAX verbindet die Atmosphäre der Wende, durch Originalaufnahmen der Demonstranten und den berühmten Satz Günther Schabowskis („Privatreisen nach dem Ausland …“), mit der heutigen Zeit („Banksters crashed unsere Welt“). Sogar der Kanzler der Wende Helmut Kohl kommt im Song noch einmal zu Wort … Gänsehaut pur …
