About: It all started on a warm June day back inoh, you want the Cliffs Notes version. I grew up shoveling snow and eating chicken wings in Buffalo, NY. I was one of those people you hate because I got really good grades in school without trying. I played baseball and soccer in high school, and I was a band geek, too (trumpet). I majored in broadcast journalism at Syracuse University (so when I wear orange, its not a Tennessee thing). After I graduated, everybody told me I had a better face for radio than TV, so here I am. Ive been in radio for almost 9 years. I started with nothing, and I still have most of that, so life is good!
Likes: Women (not too youngnot too, uh, mature), watching and playing sports, all kinds of music, food, TV, movies and beer. I like to read sometimes if the books have a lot of pictures. I spend as much time with my family and friends as possible, too. Did I mention women and beer??
Dislikes: Bad drivers, negativity, rude people and Brock. And waking up at 4am.
Name: Brock
Born: Meade, KS
About: I have been in radio since birth. I started my own radio show from my mothers womb. Actually, I started in local radio in Missouri when I was 15. I worked there until I went to college at Evangel University in Springfield, MO. There I majored in Electronic Media/Journalism. I did college radio and had a show called the Jibba Jabba Show, dedicated to Mr. T, and Nap Time with Brock and Josh. Both were great shows! LOL! Ive been in a couple of B-Films, no not those kind of films, and have worked on some movie sets as well. Im an amateur filmmaker and web designer. Probably the biggest highlight for me was when I made it on Season 4 of American Idol. I made it on the show and into the top 100 that season. I would of made it further but I was high on crack during the group day and screwed up. But hey, I was Carrie Underwoods buddy when I was out there so thats just as good as anything. Whatever! Shut up! Oh, yeah, one more snip-it, I got with Paula Abdul. Yeah, thats right. Oh, and Simon and I had a good conversation in the bathroom. I am still singing though. You can catch some of my performances if you would like. I will be performing daily in the shower, car, walking down the street, and in-between breaks at the radio station. I hope to see you all out at some of my shows. Call me in advance so I know to expect you. My ..1 love though is talking to Northwest Arkansas. For Sure!
Likes: Girls, shopping, basketball, food, music, long walks on the beach, watching the sunset, drinking ice cold water in the hot of the day or some nice hot cocoa on a cold winters morning, Santa Claus, Michael Jackson, Easter Bunny, chick flicks, putting smiles on peoples faces, life in general.
Dislikes: Mean people, bad drivers, bad food, super high-priced clothing-why buy it at full price when you can get it on sale, grumpy people, drugs.
Yay for me! I won tickets to Gavin Degraw thanks to Jay and Brock and HotMix 101. 9 and for the 10 people who asked me, no, Gavin Degraw is NOT a country music singer!
Hey guys! Thanks for adding us. I hope everyone goes to our myspace and reads about how to get a free tan! POSH.. home of the AIR BRUSH Spray Tan. 750-5253.
brock, you should change your last name to obama to confuse everyone, then the republicans will win the presidency, since who wants to vote for Brock Obama?
I agree with Jay, it's a generalization AND subject to opinion about women being too emotional. Logically, any time you use words like "all" or "every" you're getting in trouble! Besides, what is TOO emotional? I often find guys will say a girl is too emotional about something when he doesn't agree with her or she's mad at HIM about something!
