Time and time again music lovers go to concerts expecting to see a solid music performance along with an entertaining live show. Generally, bands only succeed in one of these areas. However there are those bands that break down the norm.

Meet Jay And The Lovebirds. Forming March 2007, these five guys from Alberta, Canada, have more to prove then just their musical skill. With their high intensity show, including their own home grown lighting system, thought provoking lyrics, and a mature sound way beyond there average age of 20, Jay and the Lovebirds have successfully carved out their niche in the music scene and started to make quite a name for themselves.

Though Jay And The Lovebirds tour full time, they still take the time to write music that connects with their listeners in original and interesting ways. After completing their full length album "To The Living", Jay And The Lovebirds felt it was time for something fresh. Finishing in the studio in January 2009, the Lovebirds recorded their second album titled "Glorious" that is being released August 2009 with a Canadian and European CD Release Tour. Connecting with their audience on and off the stage, the Lovebirds are a fast paced growing band creating a "must see show."

Hey everyone! So theres been alot of rumors going around as to whats up with Jay and the Lovebirds and what the future holds.

Incase you didnt know, Phil told us he would be leaving the band once we arrived back home from our succesful European/Canadian Tour. However, once that time came, Louis, Greg and Justin also decided to part ways with Jay and the Lovebirds. After a couple months of seeking the Lord and searching for new members, Im writting this to say the search is over. Jay and the Lovebirds is officially done. We want to say a special thanks to absolutely everyone we came in contact with in any way as a band. We appreciate all of you! To any Jay and the Lovebirds fans, thank you so so soo much! You were all amazing and such a blessing to us!

Jay and the Lovebirds will be finishing up the couple shows we had booked in the new year with some fill in musicians, including both YC Manitoba (April) and YC Alberta (May). YC Alberta (Edmonton) will be our FINAL SHOW, so if your interested in getting JATLB Merchandise we will have new/old merchandise for sale cheap. (including a Jay and the Lovebirds farewell t-shirt)
