The Beaver Fever has been a Bay Area favorite for the last 5 years and counting.
This band is an all girl power-pop trio from Santa Cruz, California. Members
include Marissa Valera guitar, Val Vicious bass and Talia Rizzi
drums. The Fever is quite the lesbian phenomina. Their music is a stiff cocktail
blending styles ranging from rockabilly to reggaeton. Some venues rocked by the
Beaver Fever include, The Catalyst S.C., The Blue Lagoon S.C., The Caravan S.J.,
Gay Pride S.C. Kimos, S.F. Even with the band members vast influences, they
come together to rock harder than any female rock band before them. All Beaver
Fever shows incorporate original choreography by Marissa Valera. "I like to get the
girls screaming". You can expect the unexpected with these ladies,
they put on a show not soon to be forgotten. I got a fever....and the only cure is
more beaver!!
