New Profile coming soon...

I'm not one to refer to myself in the third person, but here is a little bit about me....

I have been into music for as long as I can remember. In 2001 I founded Toolbox Recordings, even though Hard house wasn't really my thing I did enjoy producing different styles of music and Toolbox gave me the freedom to do that.

I moved on from Toolbox and back to my roots, house music and got together with a few different vocalists and started producing vocal house and other styles of house that I could play out.

In late 2005 Chris Lake visited my website and asked to sign a few tracks. We had a chat and he thought it would be best to start a label of my own which I had been considering before. He passed some tracks to The Trophy Twins and they loved them. When the Trophy's asked me to be on there show as a new producer I knew I had to take myself a little more seriously (but not too seriously tho ;) ) So from then on I did!

So on April 30th I was on the The Residency Show with the Trophy Twins on BBC Radio One. They played a mini mix that I did and gave me a plug etc... (you can hear the recorded show by clicking the banner above).

Since then I have had so many emails from DJs loving the 4 tracks and asking to buy them (they will out summer '06). I have also had requests to play on the top 2 radio stations, Kiss FM - Romania and Level 21 (May/July).

I have many projects on the go as well as the record label I am starting is called FIZZEEK RECORDS.

I am now DJing a bit more even though DJing is not my passion, producing is, and as you may have heard I'm a bit different :)

Please check my site out for more info and music...

You know...there are alot of scare tactics about vinyl going out of fashion...but to be honest, I find it amazingly tedious using CDs or computers! Nothing like the feel of vinyl under your fingers! Also...the sound, the crackle...and using CD's, computers or Ableton Live I think it's a bit of a conceit and cheat! I only use CD's for my chillout sets, but that is because most of the tunes are virtually impossible to get on vinyl! Definitely strictly vinyl I am! (Like to scratch sometimes and for it to be a bit "off-beat" on purpose!)
Massive respect to you bruv starting your own label...how did you go about it? Like the idea of having a DIY ethic about tings, like the pioneer hip-hop and house geezers back in the day!
Peace out bruv...and keep up the sterling work! ;-)
