I am just Jayel from Port Orford. No more, no less. I enjoy giggling with my friends, Walking with Duffy the Scottie, talking to my Molluccan cockatoo (affectionately called, Teddybird), playing with my sugar gliders (Precious, Fiona, Sebastian, Alexander, Calliope, Casey, Sissy and Nicholas) and leisurely dinners with my husband at a great fish and chips place called 'The Crazy Norwegian.'
I like cafe breves in the morning and Ben and Jerry's Peanut Buttercup ice cream in the evening.
I love the forest, seashore and fog that clothe the southern Oregon coast. I am a wanderer and dreamer, a student of Celtic history, folklore and faith and an avid PC gamer. In addition, I write the award winning Ancient Mirrors Tales.
My postings will contain both personal tidbits and professional updates. I keep a plate of warm and chewy virtual cookies around for the kid in all of us, so feel free to lie on the floor or nestle into a comfortable chair, snack on those cookies and chat me up.
Raised on Celtic folklore, Jayel Gibson's sense of mythology drove her to create the Ancient Mirrors Tales. Gibson lives on Oregon's southern coast, where she and her husband share their home
with numerous furred and feathered companions. She is currently at work on the first novel of a new series.
