About me:
Tinkerer, striker of scrap metal, pipe-smoker, and collector of bones. CAD Design Engineer for a really cool Austrian corporation by day, sometimes sonic terrorist and dream recorder/documentor under the name HyperSomnia by night. Former drummer of G.L.O.D... Currently collaborating with Phee as A L I E N A R E. Sometimes freelance designer for combat/tactical knife industry.
Who I'd like to meet:
People with passionate takes on music, art, design, and lifestyle. Those comfortable with their obsessions. People that will pay me big money to design really cool-looking stuff for them in SolidWorks (3D CAD). Whatever, whoever. Write me nice letters and I'll smile and then give you a clove. Just don't try to shroud your ignorance or motives from me because I will transform into a towering black-winged archer and slay you.

Hi Jay,

It was great to see you at the Ether Aura show last night. Wasn't it a beautiful night? Coffee soon?

Scapa is an Orkney whisky -- I believe one of a very few (the only?) island whiskys where they don't peat the barley. It's honey/heathery. I love sweet & spicy whiskys.

If you like peat, you might like Bowmore, although it's not as peaty as Laphroaig, it has that coastal/Island flavour.

We live down the road from a whisky bar that has a specially priced Malt of the Month.

We don't have a car, but there are a few distilleries accessible by train.

I'm so spoiled by the presence of whisky that I was shocked when I was at a small pub in Essex and they had no single malts (Famous Grouse was the best blend they had)!

Also, during Christmas, we got a bottle of The Glenlivet 15-year French Oak Reserve half-off at the grocery store!

Would you believe my new favourite whisky is Scapa? (I rather like MacAllen, too, although I rather fancy a great number of whiskys.)

BTW, you two are welcome to visit (and sample some of my petite collexion of whisky) any time!

Hi Jay

Thank you for being a special part of "studio seen, take one". We had a big turnout - the wine was flowing, the art was beautiful and there is nothing better than the company of good friends like you. There's a great photo of you and some other party photos at the new page: www.myspace.com/silvermediagroup.

Coffee soon?

Cheers,
Lee
