Watching sports, playing sports, talking about sports... you get it. Listening to and playing music, pretending I can sing, writing, sitting around doing nothing with my friends

About me: First things first, I can go from "awww" to ass-kicking very quickly, if need be. Thought you all should know.
Two things:
1. I'm a journalism major and linguistics minor (unofficially, because I still haven't declared the freaking minor, which I picked a year ago) at the University of Kansas.
2. I'm quite possibly the biggest female sports fan you will ever meet. I support my Jayhawks and Chiefs unconditionally, so trash-talk if you must, but expect just as much in return. I have also recently developed an unhealthy love of the Phoenix Suns' amazingness, and I suffer through every baseball season like every other person in Kansas City.
My major and my truest love, sports, (laugh, I don't care) are finally coinciding, falling into place if you will. If the next eight months are not the best of my college career, then I seriously need to take a hard look at what I'm doing with myself. But I don't think that will happen. I'm the associate sports editor of the University Daily Kansan for the spring semester, a brand new kind of challenge. Feel free to check in on how it's going. And I will be spending the summer as a sports copy editing intern in Naples, Fla., after a two-week residency training in Nebraska. Feel free to be jealous. I'm so pumped for reasons other than just that I'm spending my summer on the beach. This is what I want to do with my LIFE.
Likes: babies, basketball, best friends, cowboys, driving, good spelling, guitars, jeans, Kansas, libraries, linguistics, low-key nights, my parents, my roommate, music, PepperJax, pepperoni pizza, pianos, Purell, reading, semicolons, snow, Sports Illustrated, tacos, tennis shoes, tradition, words, writing
Dislikes: being late, cheating, dark chocolate, drama, dressing up, inconsiderateness, nail polish, narcissists, onions, pain, PB&J, people who interrupt, poor sportsmanship, running out of gas, shopping, snobs, sunburns, super-small towns, watermelon flavor
That's cool! Girls night out always sounds good to me, it could very easily include food :) I have a fall break week after next so I will be getting a break from school. Other then that I get every other weekend off, so as long as I am not going anywhere on that weekend then I am generally free. What about you, when is a good time? Are you working? I sure sympathize with your brother tell him to let me know if he comes up with any ways to refresh his mind :-) I had to look up how to do integrals the other day, I for the life of me could not remember! Sad :) My parents did the same thing when we all moved out. In fact they even converted our bedrooms; one to an office, one to a guest room, and one to a toy room for the grandkids.
Has it really been since my wedding? Wow, we despritely need a girls night. I am struggling too! I think the whole taking two years off has a lot to do with it, I am not quite in a routine yet. My mayh class is hard. The teacher cant teach for nothing and it has been four years since Calc so I have forgotten a lot of the terms. I will struggle my way though it ok, and hope I get a better teacher for Calc 2. Are you living off campus? Do you still live with Kelly? Hows the fam?
Well see Kacie again. I just have a feeling. Anyways I just got back from my Dave Mathews Concert and it was everything I thought it would be. This was my first concert and I whent with my frieds john, Ashly, Christie, Delie, Jennifer, Kate, Katie, and some other girl. hahaha. We were on the lawn seats and everybody was screaming when Dave was playing. He is truly flawless when he is live. That was my night. How was yours? = )
I give up you decide! :) Hey does your dad still help people with Taxes? I could use his help, if he taught me how I could probably do it next year but I don't want to mess anything up this year and I can't afford to pay a bunch to have someone else do it.
we may be grilling out this Saturday and having a couple drinks, it's supposed to be nice. We may end up going to Cameron though so I am not for sure. If we do and you don't have plans you should come. I will know by tomorrow, I will call you if you want to come and we end up doing it.
I got the stomach flu for Christmas Eve. But I'm better now, and still on for the 27th as far as I know. Erin and I will get around to calling you to finalize one of these days... Merry Christmas!
