    My interests are obviously Music I live it, breathe it and when l'm sleeping I dream it. Writing songs (music/lyrics) is complete therapy for me and a great way to vent off whatever is on my chest. If I weren't able to do that I'm sure I'd be in trouble somewhere or in jail.
    I love playing guitar, creating art,writing, painting and drawing. I have a love of ancient history, ghosts, magick, a love affair with Guinness, Jagermeister, wine and I pretty much try to enjoy the finer things that this short life has to offer me while I'm here. ..

  • Heroes

    Heroes are people who are always there for you no matter what. Heroes of mine are anybody that has the guts to do what they want without compromise. Trying to please everyone will get you nowhere in this life, you have to do the things that you want to or else your creativity will have a nice place in a graveyard somewhere lying dead.
    Almost all of my heroes are dead (Ex. GEORGE CARLIN, Johnny Cash, Razzle, Johnny Thunders, Stiv Bators, Joe Strummer, Dimebag Darrell, Rick James,Charles Bukowski, Sam Kinison, Steve Clark, Robert Johnson, Randy Rhoads, Freddie Mercury, Rodney Dangerfield, (The Ramones Joey, Johnny & Dee Dee), Brian Jones, I can go one and on tragically)

About me:

Hello you beautiful disasters, my name is Jay Luke. I'm an artist, author, & musician. I've devoted most of my life to music from 7yrs old on up rock n roll has been my whole life. I play in 2 bands The MESS and SORROWSUN.
I'm the lead singer/guitarist in our NEPA based rock n roll band called The MESS. If you're not familiar with us or our sound, We basically take an insane blend of Classic rock, Acoustic rock, Punk, and Metal and throw it into a blender with the result being us as we are without compromises. We've managed to do what we want and play what we want thanks to cool club owners and fans.
We were also voted best Indie Band of 08 in The Weekenders Readers Choice Awards, so we're very grateful for that. We also had the incredible opportunity to play with my lifelong hero Duff McKagan of the biggest band in the world Guns N Roses. You can check us out at our page listed in my top friends.
I am also the lead singer in a serious kick ass Finland inspired rockin metal band called SORROWSUN, compiled of myself, Janson, Dave, Pete, Rick, & Martin. We've been together since last year and began steamrolling through the area with our live assault since the beginning Jan. 07.
So the music definitely takes up most of my time but I wouldn't trade it for the world. It's taken me to places I never dreamed and I've got to meet and share a stage with many of my musical idols.
So anyways when I'm not bleeding my heart out onstage behind a microphone I am a full time graphic designer/artist. Although they are my main passions in life any other free time is put towards partying and having as good of a time as humanly possible without getting arrested.
I am in love with a lovely young lady named Shelly, and I have a very unhealthy obsession for Hanoi Rocks, DIO, and W.A.S.P.
