My name is Jaymes Reed. Originally from Burleson, Texas (Dallas/Fort Worth area), I currently reside in South Carolina (Heeeeeelp meeeeee) working full time as a freelance comic book letterer, logo and page layout designer for my comic book lettering studio, Digital-CAPS.

Some of my most notable projects to date include...
*I letter for Bluewater Productions on a regular basis. They have many great books coming out right now, including this brief list of titles I have been assigned so far:
--My main assignment right now is the ongoing series written by William Shatner, "TekWar Chronicles." Look for it in stores June 24th!
--I was proud to letter "Vincent Price Presents #10: Road Rage," which was drawn by DC's Pat Broderick!
--I'm starting now on the just announced MICHAEL JACKSON TRIBUTE COMIC! Yeah, I liked his music. The truth is out.
--I have also lettered "Political Powers: Barack Obama," "Female Force: Princess Diana" and many others they are releasing soon in the PP & FF lines, including "Ronald Reagan," "Condoleezza Rice," "J.K. Rowling" & "Stephenie Meyers."
*As usual, I'm staying busy working hard for my good friends Down Under in Australia at Inception Strategies. Just finished "Nowunda's Journey" & "Wis Wei!."
*I'm also working on Marvin Wynn's regular bi-monthly series "The Edge," which is now available over at IndyPlanet. You can buy issues #1 & 2 right now!
*For Eric Hobbs, "The Broadcast" is a tale that takes place DURING the infamous "War of the Worlds" radio broadcast in 1938 by Orson Welles and the Mercury Theater. In the story, you will discover how far people will go to stay safe in a crisis... at whatever the human cost! It's 180 pages you're SURE to enjoy.
*I've also worked for Dynamic Forces relettering RED SONJA #1-7 from the 1970's for THE ADVENTURES OF RED SONJA Vol. 1 and Luke Lieberman's STREET MAGIK, in which my name appears next to Stan Lee's in BOTH BOOKS... a major accomplishment in any universe as far as I'm concerned! That book was a few years ago, but I am still very proud of it!
