Everything from Appleyard to Zappa. Although I work mainly in jazz, I like every style of music and have a gazillion records. I'm light on New Country and Gangsta Rap...but folk, classical, rock, pop, electronic, experiMental...you name it, I dig it. I work with musicians that you should check out: Serafin, Babes In Jazzland, Colleen Allen, Kollage and The Royal Jelly Orchestra!
Movies
The 5000 Fingers of Dr. T is my favourite film.
If you haven't seen it you should run out and find it on DVD! Dr. Suess wrote the lyrics and did some set design. It should be famous like The Wizard of Oz!
Television
I don't watch much TV. The Simpsons are still funny, but I don't see it much. I prefer to buy a series on DVD so I don't have to worry about my crazy schedule. American Dad, Brak, Harvey Birdman and Robot Chicken - are all available in DVD box sets.
Books
I just reread "Circus of The Scars" recently which is the story of a circus sideshow and the narator is a shrunken head. It's a great concept for a book and Jan Gregor has a nice flow going. Amazing art in the book too! Another book I love is The Channel by Stephen Erlich. The end of the world and flashbacks of Woodstock...it should be a major motion picture!
Heroes
My parents are my heroes. They had three kids while still very young and had to give up a lot. They are non-judgemental and have a wicked sense of humour. We love to hang out as friends whenever they visit Toronto, or when I'm up at my cottage near their home in North Bay. I suppose my favourite action hero is Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law.

About me: I am a triple fire sign. I am passionate about life. I don't require much sleep, which is fortunate because I don't want to miss anything.
I love to live well and believe the old saying "everything in moderation...especially moderation!" I have been known to party wildly but I also take relaxation seriously. In fact, I enjoy writing while someone visiting me also writes (or reads). Contrary to popular believe I enjoy silence very much.
