The Melbourne based singer/songwriter has walked the wilderness with his thoughts and finally shares them with the rest of the world.
Jay P captures all of our thoughts, loves, imaginations, years gone by on his debut album 1565 PATIENTLY WAITING.

Over the past year Alzheimer’s Australia has developed a fantastic relationship with Jay P and his music. His journey has helped us raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease and Show Compassion 2008 the charity gig created by Jay P and Star Motion Enterprises raised over $6,000 for Alzheimer’s Australia and was an outstanding success. Jay P’s creativity and sensitivity has touched people who have heard him perform How The Times Have Changed, the song he wrote about his father’s battle with Alzheimer’s.
Jay P also wrote the song “Think Ahead to Go Ahead “ which is being featured in the Alzheimer’s National TV Ad campaign which will be launched later in the year. This Ad will raise community awareness about reducing the risk of dementia. Alzheimer’s Australia truly values the ongoing partnership with Jay P and we really look forward the launch of 1565 Patiently Waiting and then on to Show Compassion 2009 to be held in October.

Just wanted to say that I'm still getting comments on how good Show Compassion '08 was from my friends that attended. And it reminded me how much fun we had organizing and doing it.
The fact that a fundraiser for such a debilitating and life changing illness could be enjoyed with good music, good food, good drink and good friends with such a joy and happiness is a testament to the time and care put into the evening.
Show Compassion '08 was a complete and utter success and I'm proud to have been a part of it and think of the positive change I know it will make to many families living with Dementia.
I'm looking forward to a bigger and better show in '09 which I'm sure, as this one did, will blow all expectations out of the water.
