The Jay Raymond Trio explores the beauty and subtleties of the Great American Songbook in addition to original jazz in the same style. Whether performing the classic songs of Irving Berlin and Cole Porter or the modern compositions of John Coltrane and Wayne Shorter, the trio contributes their own personal approach to every tune they play. Among these three like-minded musicians, musical interaction is valued above all else, resulting in a lasting and rewarding musical experience for both musician and listener alike. All three musicians have performed or recorded with many of the great jazz musicians in the United States. ________________________________________________________________
