    I will listen to pretty much anything on the radio. However, I do have a few favorites: The Fray, Kelly Clarkson, Kate Nash, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Britney Spears, Frou Frou, Feist, Glen Fredly, Meghan Tonjes, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, The Strokes, Jamiroquai, My Chemical Romance, Pink... There are many more; I'm not too picky.

  • Movies

    I love movies! I prefer to watch them at home rather than the theater. A few off of my long list of favorites are: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Running with Scissors, To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar, Steel Magnolias, Beaches, The Notebook, Juno, The Island, The Devil Wears Prada, In Good Company, and As Good As It Gets.

    I rarely watch television, but when I do: Still Standing, Reba, Dexter, Friends, and The L Word.

    Sadly, I have only read a few books the entire way through: I'm Not Myself These Days by Josh Kilmer-Purcell, A Venom in the Blood by Eric van Hoffmann, Magical Thinking and Running with Scissors by Augusten Burroughs.

About me:

My name is Jeremy and I'm 26; well at least for the next couple of months. I will be 27 in April. I consider myself to be semi-dorky. As I get older, things that I once considered to be crucial aspects of life are no longer as significant.

Quality is better than quantity when it comes to friends. Just five years ago, I thought having a larger group of friends and being popular was what it was all about. Though, getting older, some of those people turned out to be less "friend" and more acquaintance.

Thus, I am somewhat of a loner in recent years. Concentration on school and my job has become priority. Unfortunately, that limits the possibility for meeting that special someone. When your routine is too routine, there is little to no chance of finding a new person to spend time with. I do not enjoy clubs or bars, but have gone out every now and again in the off chance that I do meet "the one."

As of yet, no luck!

Who I'd like to meet:

Anyone really! I am looking to meet people who understand the friends-first concept. Jumping into bed with someone is not as fulfilling as it once seemed to be at a much earlier age. As the clock ticks, getting to know a person for who they are is far more important.

    Hey jeremy, I know what you mean about a routen Im going to school, takeing care of my son and husband, and trying to get a job all at the same time with no help from any friends because I dont have any. So yeah I know how hard it can be. But I know you will find that someone special soon. But I love ya and miss you lots.

    LMAO... Good times whenever you visit Lodi, eh? The fun never ends. I just got married, which is a new adventure for me. No more wild child for Amanda; now it's all good little housewife for me. Other than that, I work with adults with developmental disabilities and essentially do social work, but I may be looking for a career change pretty soon here. We shall see... good to hear from you.
