Welcome to the Jay Clifford STREET TEAM! If you would like to join, just add this page as a friend and you are in! Info will then be sent out to you explaining how this all works, what we would like you to do to help spread the word about Jay's music, AND what you will get out of it...
Here's something inspired by the Old City Jail and the Oyster Roast that we didn't get to go to b/c they sold out. We couldn't break in since the gates were well guarded...but the Jail made an impression of us nonetheless! It was supposed to be rainy, so we had umbrellas. So here...think B13!
There is a Jail for me, close close by off Clifford St, at the end of the Magazine St. Broken in one night, With umbrellas held up high, screaming lock me away! I could serve time here a thousand times, Row B, Cell 13, Happy shackled in the silver light, an entire row of bars between!

Olga was just kidding about that...yeah, sorry for all the confusion and anyone who thought the video was set to be released on September 4th. That's what Zach Braff initially posted and then we repeated. If you didn't catch all the numerous bulletins and messages that followed, it's coming out on the 12th!! We're planning to celebrate the release with a party next Friday (see facebook events-Jay's Army). More info to follow!
Sept 4th is when Jay's music video is going to be released!!! How about gathering troops for a Charleston based party to celebrate the event, and meet fellow fans in the area!? If interested, post above and/or contact me!
I'd definitely be up for it if it's in the Charleston area. Earlier is better. We should do it on September 4th, the one-year anniversary for "Driving Blind" :)
I'm all for the below idea, but why not sooner? I hate waiting :) If we can get Jay, Michael Flynn and Steven Fiore to play! we could make it a really cool party! Actually...I don't think Michael Flynn is in the Army yet, haha!
Alright, so anyone who in interested in actually doing the below mentioned idea... send me a message and we can work out a possible date and get things all hammered out and such... I am thinking sometime in the fall, obviously a weekend, possibly around october or november. This can happen... seriously.
Okay I have a plan. We should all get together in Charleston (everyone who can make it) and have a big food and music night. We can set up a PA, get everyone who does music to do an open mic set, and everyone can bring food and we can all just hang out and drink and eat and groove to music. It can be like an invite/ jay's army only type of thing and we can do a cover charge to pay for whatever or make it a fundraiser and pay Jay and Michael Flynn to headline it. Anyone second that notion???
Maybe we can get Paul McCartney and Jay to play together on your 25th...that would top last years! :) Or if not Sep13th, then I request March 8th for a concert :) the Olga's getting old party, hahaha!
Haha...in that case I want Jay to play my 25th! Army, won't you throw me a Maria's-gettin'-old party in September? Jay did play an awesome acoustic show at Cat's Cradle on my 23rd and I got to meet Matt on my 24th, so there would have to be something pretty darn spectacular to top all that this year :)
I would love a revolution! And it would be very cool to gather troops and have a party or something...and coax the leader to do an acoustic show :) That's a great idea!
Im moving back to Columbia and will be in fairly close contact with the whole Charleston/surrounding area crew... we should start a revolution or at least throw me a 21st and coax Jay into playing it... please.
I just went by Lucky store on King St., and they told me they sold out all their Jay CDs! They offered to order a CD for me from another store! They said there's no plan to reorder more CDs...is there anything to be done about that?
Yes, Southpoint has had it for a while. We saw it there back in January, I think. To celebrate, I got the Japanese-girl shirt that I'm wearing in the picture...man did Jay pick an expensive brand though...there was a really cool shirt there I remember that made me look like a lizard and I really wanted it, but it was like $80. Kudos for carrying Jay's CD though.
I know that Lucky store at Southpoint mall in Durham, NC has the CD for sure! Right next to Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen! Them two should be honored by the great presence of "Driving Blind" in their midst! :) I think King St. Lucky store should have it too, although I haven't checked yet!
He's now officially a Jay Girl! Let's all congratulate him on finally seeing the light.
Wouldn't it be great if Dr. Cox actually called him a "Jay girl" during an episode (since he always calls him girl names)! We should encourage that idea :)
I Heart Huckabees - always on point. "Nobody sits like this rock sits. You rock, rock. The rock just sits and is. You show us how to just sit here and that's what we need. "
Dear Army! Check out the Facebook Army for a few uploaded videos of American Theater concerts! I have "My Guitar" and "Lover's Greed" there so far...I'll try to upload more soon!
