My name is Jay Trefethen. I'm a self taught artist living in Fairlee, Vermont with my girlfriend Meredith. Currently, I'm mostly working with Vector Illustration, puting together a new portfolio for my shiny new web site, www.jaytref.com. In addition to vector illustration, I also airbrush fabrics, and when I have time, paint with oils. I work at the well known furniture shop Pompanoosuc Mills as a woodworker. I've been doing carpentry and woodworking off and on since graduating high school, way back in the Eighties. In my spare time, I like to read science fiction, fantasy and horror books, listen to jazz and bake bread. I often can be found at the annual science fiction convention, Boskone; at Barbarry Coast jazz concerts in Hanover, NH; buying baking supplies at the King Author Flour Factory Store in Norwich; or dining in any number of fine resturaunts in the Upper Valley area.
