I enjoy painting pictures that reveal the energy and vibrancy of the underlying energy or "chi" of things. I like practicing Tai Chi, MMA (Cam McHargue and the Praxis gym are the best!) and other martial arts. I like hiking, kayaking, and soaking in the natural world as much as possible.

Hello Jay, I just had a quick look at your new paintings from ireland...Huuuuuuum, i think i'm gonna leave watercolours and go back to drawing! :DDD No, sincerely, "j'adore";
Stopping in too say hi, and you are inspiring me, I painted with watered down acrylic last nite it was a challenge, but I am happy with the thin, light, and heavy areas of contrast, my global warming expression--take care and keep up the works, always look forward too your new ones.. Linda
OK, I give, watching your paintings, checking out your techniques, playing with flow of water versus paints, and I guess I am stuck with my own version, either way we both have a vision of what we see and how it portrays on canvas, I am watching your every move, I am determined too understand and feel the flow for watercolors after all these yrs. Your are my mentor now.... THANKS, keep up the great works....LINDA

Hi my watercolor friend, I am trying but watercolor is so challenging, my mind was everywhere from the beach, too creatures, too leaves again, so I dabble a little in both, whatever the watercolors dictated I went with the flow....LOL!!!. have a great week and take care, I am challenging myself with this media, because soon I will be stuck in the studio due to cold weather and not be outside which I love. your friend LINDA
