Before the realization of success was evident for jaz, he saw it. While growing up in abject poverty, he still posseesed the God giving ability to dream, beyond his surroundings. Music was a constant source of inspiration. While various genres provided inspiration, it was rap music that brought out the innate ability to focus on the creative side of his personality. Particuarly, artists like LL Cool J, NWA, and music from both coast were instrumental in jaz's upbringing. He started beat-boxing as the first form of creative artform. After that phase jaz started writing and rapping, performing at different places. The most advance format that Jaz has focused on is writing and recording. While looking for live venues to perform at. He is not just looking but studying how to captivate a crowd. Before Jaz did not understand the dedication it takes to succeed in this industry. But after researching he knows that talent and hard work go hand in hand. This is not an overnight story, but at least two decades in the making. With a lot of falling and getting back up. Now Jaz is rapping like his life is on the line, not for an ego like he rap before, but now he is rapping for his family and legacy. His intentions is to wake up everyday and live like this is his last chance, like one of his favorite character's The Heavy weight Champ from Cinderalla Man.

D12 has announced a US headlining tour alongside Humboldt County hip-hop duo Potluck. The tour will kick off August 16th in Scottsdale, AZ and run throughout Sept with the final show in D12's hometown of Detroit, MI on September 26th.
D-12, also known as the dirty dozen, includes members Bizarre, Eminem, Kon Artis, Kuniva and Swift. D12 released a series of highly successful albums including their 2001 debut, "Devil's Night" and 2004's "D12 World", both of which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200. The tour is the first time the Detroit based group will tour America since the passing of founding member Proof.
