About me:
JAZZFLY was born on Friday 13 January 2006 after having been conceived in the back of a club in March 2005. The father of Jazzfly? A vocalist, songwriter and practising Buddhist named Malcolm Connell. He had put on a successful charity live music event for victims of the Asian Tsunami at the My Place Lounge in London's Earls Court and realised it might just be the perfect venue to host a regular weekly event and thus, here we are! Our team now consists of 5 very dedicated individuals working hard to ensure that live music thrives in all the right places, and even some wrong ones, in London Town. There are many with the same vision, we are but one, and together we can start the revolution.... erherm.
We have now been running for a year and plan to take 2007 by storm! We've had the privilige of working with some amazing artists and bands such as The Bridge, Hopper, Elova and Dirty Fuzz, to name but a few, and look forward to working with many, many more!

Jazzfly takes place every Friday night at The My Place Lounge, 1-3 Trebovir road, Earls Court, SW5 9LS. Our aim is to provide artists and bands with support and the network of resources that will help them put together projects, make inroads into the industry and gain new fans. If you are an artist wanting to use this platform or just wanting to join in the fun then please have a look at our blog titled 'JAZZFLY ARTISTS- WOULD YOU LIKE TO PERFORM?'

Who I'd like to meet:
JAZZFLY is a dynosaur-free zone. So non-jurassic ARTISTS and MUSICIANS, A&R, Publishers, producers, Record promotion & distribution, managers, studio-moles, photo-documentalists (still and movin), digital media experimentalists, radio-heads, mixologists, and serious discologists, let us know you're out there, tell us what you're up to. And if you're feelin us come along to the Jazzfly Friday night live events at The My Place Lounge, 1-3 Trebovir road, Earls court SW5 9LS and see for yourself. Doors open at 8 pm. £7.00 on the door, £5 advanced guest list at: mailinglist@jazzfly.co.uk. (put your name down before midnight of the previous day!)
