About Jazz for a New Society

Jazz for a New Society is a collaboration between creative musicians and a creative audience. How do we connect our love of music to our concerns for our community? Answering that question is our project.' Each month we will present a jazz show in order to publicize and fund raise for a local community organization. Aside from raising money, we encourage everyone, musicians and listeners, to GET INVOLVED! We have worked with the following organizations: Peace Action Maine; Spindleworks Artist Collective; Brunswick Sustainability; Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program.
