Moby, Phish, Dinosaur Jr., the Lemonheads, Eugene Chadbourne, Birdsongs of the Mesozoic, the Neighborhoods, and many other bands were fortunate enough to play with Jazzin' Hell over the years. Just as Janice Dickinson "gave" her career in modeling to Cindy Crawford, we happily "gave" our career in music to these bands.
you guys have been great sports sitting at the top of my friends list for so long now, i thought the least i could do is to notify you that sometime in the near future my top 4 is to move on and you shall be retiring to a more relaxed and pressure-free zone (number 7).
So I'm sitting here, listening to Carm on Bay State Rock, and I think to myself that The Hell needs to get back together and do an in-studio set on her show to show all these young whippersnappers how it's done.
Dave from The Zambonis here. Jazzin Hell are the best band ever! No band combines genius, stupidity and melody better. Love the pic of Tarquin (Zambonis / Philistines jr) and me and all of our friends front row at the show. Please re-unite so we can all see the band live 1 more time.
It was great to see Jazzin’ Hell still had a following. I remember the first song “my Brain” played on RUV late at night spawned from my Casio keyboard. If you guys ever play again I would travel the distance to Burlington to see.
What a kick to hear from you guys after so long. You shall forever remain one of the wildest and funniest stage shows I have ever witnessed. Do you have any live video footage? Ahh, I remain smitten enough to add you to my front page.
