Im classically trained turned jazz/funk flautist and vocalist. Im also learning saxophone. I love funky beats to jam along with and at the moment am loving the styles used in Amy Winehouse first album and would love to collaborate with musicians/producers doing this sort of style. In the past I have fronted a funk band Juggla Heroes, it was great and gave me loads of confidence to take the flute to different levels. At the moment I am in the funk band Mindfunk (flute/lead vocals) which is undergoing some lineup changes and we hope to be gigging again in September 08. I love pushing boundaries on flute and trying new techniques, and I love singing jazz and gigging as often as I can. I have also tried house and drum and bass with flute, thanks to producer Ben Startup. I want to continue with my live and recorded style and meet new musicians who want to collaborate. I also teach flute in Leeds and hope to continue this as a career.
