Band Biography:
Originally formed in 2005 by Dr. Guitarbett and uITgs thetroll, JTA has been in its current formation since around August 2006.
After finding screamer Splakoph, and trying out a series of bass and sax players, the band eventually gelled by calling on a selection of old friends in the forms of Scrote (better known as VJ phluxm), Walt D Factotum (sometime film maker) and pianist Anna Krusis.
JTA sound somewhat like a bull in a record shop… the concept is to be eclectic and innovative with abrupt changes in style, but accessible with humorous lyrics and catchy melodies.
The band have been turning ears and twisting heads across the Midlands with their own brand of mixed-genre music and exciting performance, gaining some fanatical fans and great reviews. Obvious influences are Mike Patton’s Mr.Bungle, Frank Zappa and John Zorn’s Naked City.

Howdy! The photos were done by a friend of ours called Ed, he's dead good. Although the costumes were our brainchild and the backgrounds were put in afterwards by us.
actually, was gonna have you headline, if thats ok, cos we never played brum before, we were gonna take the middle slot, how much you think we should charge. we're playing with elmo sexwhistle and the fairytale (both in our top friends, i'm gonna message everyone later with details
hey. no worries dude. meant to reply to your message but have been busy with stuff and haven't had chance. we'll have to try and sort another gig asap. the little civic gig is a battle of the bands so can't get you in on that i'm afraid.
As for the Prague gigs, i'll send you the email address of the guy we arrange it through.
