Hi! I'm just a perpetual jazz piano student, enjoying the trip. My goal is to play jazz well. Simple enough but obviously a difficult challenge. I started playing late 2004 and probably have progressed faster than most, thanks to the best teachers and an organized practice regimen. I don't particularly care to make money from playing jazz but it really is an important part of what I am.
I've played guitar for 40 years so I guess I'm not new to music. I enjoy dabbling in music theory but hopefully I shut all that off when I play.
At home, I have a Hamburg Steinway O, a Yamaha Motif XS6, and a Yamaha P155 for late night practice.
