Les morsures de chiens, dans notre pays comme dans d'autres, sont une problématique grave à laquelle il est nécessaire d'apporter une réponse efficace. Certains pays, dont la France, pensent actuellement que cette réponse efficace ne peut passer que par des mesures coercitives (voire tout simplement d'interdiction) vis-à-vis de certaines races de chiens, considérées comme "dangereuses". Le présent site a vocation, en axant sa démarche sur l'information et la communication, à montrer que de telles lois sur les chiens dangereux sont : - non fondées scientifiquement ; - inefficaces ; - injustes et partiales. et que la solution à la problématique des chiens mordeurs et/ou agressifs réside ailleurs. Notre souhait est donc de vous démontrer qu'il existe des solutions alternatives (qui ont fait leurs preuves) pour éviter de mettre ainsi au ban de la société des races de chiens et leurs propriétaires. Afin d'appuyer cette démarche éducative et explicative, ce collectif a vocation à réunir de nombreux professionnels du chien (éleveurs, éducateurs, vétérinaires, comportementalistes, etc...) au fait de la situation et conscients de la nécessité de représenter un front commun afin de faire disparaître, à terme, toute notion de catégorisation raciale. Countries like France currently consider that this efficient reponse necessarily includes restrictions (or banning) of certain breeds of dogs, that are considered "dangerous". Through information and communication, this site aims to show that such "dangerous dogs" laws are: - Scientifically unfounded - Unefficient - Unfair and partial, and that the solution to the dog bites/agression problem is elsewhere. Our wish is therefore to demonstrate that "tried and tested" alternative solutions exist to avoid penalizing certain dog breeds and their owners.
