| General | When I'm not writing, I enjoy reading dark fiction. Other interest include history, mythology and folklore, the paranormal and the occult, religion, cooking, art, music, and hot men.
| | Music | I prefer listening to rock but I have been known to listen to jazz and classical music as well. As for subgenres, I'm all over the place -- it depends on my mood or the mood I want a scene that I'm writing to be.
Favorite bands: Evanescence, Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, Three Days Grace, GodSmack, Papa Roach, Green Day, Nickelback.
| | Movies | If it has horror, blood, gore and/or m/m sex then I will more than likely watch it
| | Television | I enjoy watching the History Channel, the Discovery Channel, and the Travel Channel. I like Ghost Hunters on Scifi and I have been known to watch Comedy Central from time to time. I also watch Jeopardy on a somewhat daily basis.

About me:

I'm Jordan Drake, an unpublished writer, an occasional poet and playwright, and a mediocre visual artist. I am currently working on four manuscripts. One is almost done, two are about halfway and the fourth is nothing more than a skeleton at the moment. I consider the bulk of my work to be dark fantasy although I do sometimes write straight-up horror and fantasy when I'm in the mood for it. I sometimes experiment with different genres when I write short stories. Some of my work can be found here:

Besides writing, I'm also in college majoring in the culinary arts (so I can have something to fall back on if writing isn't as lucrative as I thought).
I joined MySpace for networking with other writers. I'm not interested in a relationship at the moment because I already have enough on my plate. I'm a full time student looking for a part time job while writing a few manuscripts and trying to retain my sanity at the same time.
