Music
If it's good and grooving it's good for me...
Lots of soul, lots of jazz, classic funk, the list goes on. And on.
Movies
Casino, Godfellas, Leon (manditory), Shawshank Redemtion, The Italian Job (the origainl, please), Crash (seriously amazing film), Bad Boys (whatya gonna do?), Shrek... etc etc etc and I'm sorry to say... a serious James Bond nut. I am therefore useful for pub quizzes.
Television
Yes
Books
Usually ones full of musical theatre music and needing to be played the next day....
About me: UPDATE:
Hello everybody. So the next chapter in the saga seems to be the Daddy Cool world tour, starting in Berlin for three months (this is touring in the loosest sense of the word!). Yes, the show that I claim gave me brain damage last time around and I'm going back for more. I must be mental. Pics and vids from Berlin to come as soon as we get there. Rest of schedule TBC, god knows where we're gonna end up, but I've heard some quite nice rumours.....(I may get quite a nice tan this year)
At the very least, I cant complain that 2007 hasn't been eventful so far.... Nuff said.
Love as ever,
JBXXX
Welcome... To the kingdom of JB. It's a lot more convenient than my other kingdom which is a small African country that I own.
Movin' swiftly on.....
I'm a drummer / percussionist / programmer / musical director / make it all funky / general musical dogs-body / drinker / male, based in London Village, England
I work a lot in musical theatre and have recently finished production work on Daddy Cool (leaving me mentally scared for life) which has just opened in the West End and monopolized my life for six months.
I've previously toured with shows including Fame, Footloose and The Rocky Horror Show and worked with artists including Boy On A Dolphin and The Score.
I am very good looking, extremely talented and generally irresistible to the opposite sex. I also tell completely unbelievable lies with bizarre regularity.
Enjoy my musings, vids, tunes etc, and please be my friend and talk to me lots. Not that I'm desperate.
I live in Kilburn, Norf London with no cats and no dogs.
Who I'd like to meet: My maker. And Heather Graham.
