Jones
Beach Entertainment Television - JBE-TV
(WGA Intellectual Property Registry #1115280)
JBE-TV
is a music themed variety show recorded live at beautiful Jones Beach - Long
Island, New York. An entertaining and informative power ½ hour weekly TV show,
JBE-TV's main objective will be to provide a spotlight for some of the many
talented bands that grace the renowned Jones Beach Band Shell each season.
The artists featured each week come from all over the Tri-State area.
Each
week JBE-TV will showcase 3 music performances, two bands and one acoustic
act. All get a chance to perform an original composition (up to 3-minutes
in length). An interesting aspect of JBE-TV is the upcoming artists featured
each week may some day play the famous and much larger Nikon Jones Beach Theater
(circa 1959), an aspiration of any new band breaking into the music business!
During a powerful music segment we call "Tunnel Tunes", a
local artist is featured singing/playing acoustically within the Jones Beach
passageway (tunnel) that connects the parking lot to the main boardwalk.
Before each performance JBE-TV Host Paul
Bond (an accomplished musician himself) conducts an interview with each
band, during which members get an opportunity to promote their music, playing
schedule and websites!
In an interactive twist, fans can log onto our website to replay any of the
performances featured on JBE-TV. At the end of our season the 6 acts with
the most downloaded views will be brought back to battle it out on Labor Day
in the 1st Annual JBE-TV "ALL DAY" Music Festival! The winning
act will receive a number of great prizes including: equipment, studio recording
time and a chance to open up for National Headlining Act at the renowned Nikon
Jones Beach Theater!
Interspersed each week into the shows music performances is a unique blend
of entertaining and informative segues. These segments are intended to keep
the show flowing while providing the opportunity to promote Jones Beach, Jones
Beach Events and their associated sponsors.
These
segments include:
"Bonding
on the Boardwalk" - A satirical stroll down Jones Beach's 2.5 miles
of beautiful boardwalk with JBE-TV Host; Comedian, Musician & Actor Paul

Moment in JB History" - Each week JBE-TV Co-Host (TBA) takes a moment
