I love Mixed Martial Arts, Yoga and working out. I have Black Belts in Hapkido and Tae Kwon Do. I also studied Sambo extensively. I plan on studying another Martial Art very soon, most likely Krav Maga. I also want to perfect yoga to the best of my abilities. I use to oil paint a little bit but, have not done it in about 12 years. Not the most talented painter but it's very relaxing and fun. One of my life time goals is to learn the piano, I got to get started, time is vicious when you take it for granted!
Music
I like a wide mix of music. In fact it's all over the board. Some of my favorites are Vinx, Seal, Sade, Sting, Earth Wind and Fire, Malcolm McLaren, Van Morrison, Brian McKnight, Norah Jones, Lenny Kravitz, Maxwell, Alicia Keys, R Kelly, Gipsy Kings, Flaming Lips, The High Violets and RandB. Movies
I like movies but rarely go. It's an ADD thing I have a hard time sitting for 2+ hours. Movies I like are Action and Romantic Comedies. These are movies I like SuperBad, Braveheart, Last Samuri, Troy, Gladiator,300,Cinderella Man, Family Man, Beutiful Girls, City of Angels, The Holiday, Mr. Incredible, Enchanted, Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium(Great story if you look deep into it. If not you will hate it). Any movie with blood and any movie with love and romance.
Television
These days rarely watch Television. I tend to listen to a lot of talk radio. If I do watch: The Office, Chelsea Lately, and some Discovery channel. I also watch selected sporting events. Some kids stuff with my son, but the TV in my eyes is the DEVIL. It sucks you in and takes your soul.
Books
I like to read. My favorites are spiritual, and sports and medical journals. I've been reading a lot on meditation and not to be so impulsive books. Also, books on how to raise a son.
Heroes
My Dad one of the smartest men walking the earth. He always took the safe route and paid off in the long run. He kept me in check during my wild moments and still does. Next, my mom she would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it, I think she keeps her bra when she does give the shirt (that's a weird thought). She will do anything in the world for you. Uncle Giuseppe(RIP) he had the best business sense. He came from Italy and built a fishing empire in Chicago. He was gambler in life, he had charm and was charasmatic. When he walked in a room he commanded attention.

I am an open book, If you ask me a question, I'll tell you the truth good or bad. I will tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. I like to cook whenever I get a chance, mostly, Italian. I also enjoy going out and trying all types of restraunts. I try to travel as much as I can. Also, Farmer's Markets and Art's Festival's. I work a lot, so I do not allow myself a lot of down time except on weekends. When I get a chance, I do enjoy sports, working out and yoga. I love relaxing but it is far and few between the times that I am able to do this. I am not as shy as my first impression. One of my friends wrote this to me in an email, "You are liked immediately by everyone who meets you. You remind me of so many characthers from the movies example: (Andy Garcia, in the Untouchables), kind and modest; (Russell Crowe, LA Confidential) tough, exciting and noble." One of my nicknames is "J Bear", soft and cuddly like a cute little "teddy bear" but, will maul you like a big mean grizzly bear if needed.
Who I'd like to meet: I've been fortunate and have met a lot of famous and infamous people in my life. I lived in Los Angeles for 12 years and had an ecclectic group of friends.
