My music is a combination of many life and musical experiences. 70's Rock, 70's R&B, ie; Isley Brothers, Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, Earth,Wind & Fire, Santana, Jimi Hendricks, Funkadelics, Marvin Gaye, Roberta Flack, Chaka khan & Rufus and more.
Jazz influences like, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Chic Corea, Yellow Jackets, Many Brazilian Artists, John Scofield, Pat Metheny, Earl Klugh, Larry carlton, Lee Ritenour, Bill Evans, Charlie Parker, Weather Report, Jazz Crusaders, Herbie Hancock, George Duke, Stanley Clark, George Benson and too many others to recall...
The journey continues to be the most important aspect to the music in my life. What I feel, what I experience and what I hear, influences my perspective and molds my creative approach. Success is only defined in the moment...not as an end to the process, nor is it the end of the journey. It is merely a temporary state, an acknowledgement of the work. When a person thinks that they have "arrived" or is defined as successful and stops producing or reinventing, the success will fade or disappear. As long as I live, I want to create and explore... the journey continues...

Sometimes when i look around, all i see is misery, despair, frustration and pain...
Then, i close my eyes, take a couple deep breaths, RELAX...And ask myself, "WHAT IF all I saw was what I WANTED TO SEE?" Then, I open my eyes. I see the sun, I see the blue sky, I see my girls smiling back at me, I see life...
And then, lo and behold, I see nothing but OPPORTUNITY...
