Anything and everything. It's like the chaos theory only applied to our musical excursion.
Sounds Like
An amalgamation of everything known to man and angels; a heavenly bliss only accessible through the transcendentalization of our souls to a higher plane. Some men dare to say that the sound pouring forth from our humble speakers has been known to cure cancer and the common cold.
We hail from Vian, OK, and we used to all work at the same grocery store. Well, Nathan is still holding it down there because he's the only one that keeps it real. The rest of us are in Norman, OK, kicking it with the college kids. We're always trying to save up money for better gear, but that's kind of hard when most of the money goes to keeping our asses in school and out of debtor's prison... even though I don't believe debtor's prisons are around anymore. We play rock, metal, blues and really just about anything we like to hear, and sometimes, what we don't like to hear, i.e. each other's written songs. All kidding aside, though, we're a normal group of guys (except for Jerry) that just enjoy making music (however badly written it may be).
Damn man, I didn't realize you had put the cleaned up version of "Rio Rojo" on here Jerry. I wasn't sure about it at first, but it is growing on me. We should make a fucking music video for it, hell yeah!!!!
Come on guys, we have got to start playing again!!! That damn "I've got homework" excuse is getting really old, fuck school. The only schoolin' u need to know is a+b= rock n fuckin' roll!!!
Hey Gentlemen! There's only room in Vian for Ricochet!
We got the memo and moved to Tahlequah.
Well, Luke didn't. But, whatever.
Anyways, love the new song. I think you guys got a really good recording which is hard to do with a freakin' laptop and microphone. We're still trying to figure it out. Anyway, just wanted to tell you guys to keep up the good work. Later. -Curt (CBR)
I think you should move the music more to the foreground. Because you're distorting the voice I think it would be cool if the music blended..like..with the voice. It may also be the speakers im listening on. But this version is definatly better than the other one. Kudos guys :D
I did picture the way i thought it would sound cool in my head. witha little tweaking it would be awsome!
the only thing that would suck is if you tweaked the vocals in every song. when you do concerts you may end up like every other band out there that does that. Sucking. but. hopefully that doesnt happen.
I love the new song Crimson River. It sounds awesome. I do think your vocals need to blend in more into the music. Lol. It's too loud and covers the music up :D hehe.
Not to mention I can't understand a word of it :P:P:P hehe, but still, awesome song, and am just constructively criticizing.
You guys need to update your about me. You no longer hail from Marvin's, except Nathaniel. Anyways I like the new stuff. But its missing something....like more cowbell!!!
Next problem. Drums and vocals. Can try GarageBand but they'll probably sound too fake and need to be ran through a noise filter to generate the crappiness the mic generated.
