Books
J.R. Ward's Blackdagger Brotherhood series and Stephen King's older works top my list, but I like many genres and authors, more than I can list. I have hundreds of books in my growing library. I also like the work of Victoria Francis in her Favole series. Her art blows me away.
About me: I dabble in horror, but most of my work is dark urban fantasy. I also write paranormal and vampire romance. I tend to write about things that go bite in the night regardless of genre.
Who I'd like to meet: Writers, readers, musicians, artists, and others with similar interests. In particular, I'd like to meet Stephen King and Joshua Bell.
As a winter present for everyone, I'm offering a free novella on my website.
A Happily Ever After of Her Own
Melinda Lightfoot, a preschool teacher with an unusual ability to flit in and out of fairy tales, never thought she would get into trouble...
...until the Fairy Tale Police arrest her while she is in Beauty and the Beast. They offer her a deal: Find Beauty, who left the story when Melinda trespassed into it, or be charged with the ultimate crime -- Fairy Tale Killer. If that's not bad enough the Beast tags along in search of his true love, and Melinda starts falling for the fairy tale prince. She must choose between doing the right thing and having her own happily ever after.
Thanks for being my friend here on Myspace, J.C.!! If you enjoy reading, I would like to personally invite you to swing by my website and check out my own paranormal mystery novels. I promise you'll get a kick out of them. Anyway, I hope all is well over there, and thanks again for adding me as a friend!
Thanks for befriending me! Get to know more about me in my daily blogs. I write the occasional writing-related tidbit but I prefer posting the things that fascinate me—jokes, life events, trivia, items that catch my interest, and my regular Friday feature, Karen’s Friday Fixin’s [ my favorite homemade recipes]. Thanks! Karen
