About me:
My name is Jonathan Dixon. My Mom and my sister Constance maintain my page to promote awareness of Angelman Syndrome and to help me keep in touch with family and friends I want people get to know me as a person not just as someone who has Angelman Syndrome. I am 29 years old and the oldest of five children. My brothers drive me crazy and my sister thinks she's my second mom. I have to depend on family to take care of me and to take me places. I can't communicate verbally and that gets very frustrating at times. My family and close friends usually figure out what I am trying to tell them. My Mom has spent 29 years helping me and other children who have Angelman Syndrome. She is a regional director and contact for TN,Al,MS,Ga,La.and Fla. She is always willing to talk to other parents. It isn't always easy being the parent or the sibling of an Angel but Mom and Cissie will help you understand us if you ask. They will also tell you all I have to do is smile and give them an Angel hug or kiss and it makes things much easier. How can you be upset with someone as handsome and lovable as me? I'm an Angel!
