Jonny's leaving as he's only 16 and he wants to complete his A-levels, understandably so. We want to gig around the country a bit more, and he wasn't willing to do it mid-week and stuff, so it wasn't possible to move forward with him. To be honest, I don't think he wanted it like we do.
Sorry haven't been able to get back to you sooner, the last couple of weeks have been mental, in a good way!
Your songs are really starting to take shape now, I can hear alot of Jack Johnson in there (is that good or bad?), and you seem to be singing about what means alot to you; I believe lyrics should be a snapshot of what the lyricist is thinking about at that time, a stamp of their state of mind, and you do that nicely.
It's clear that you're in it for the sheer enjoyment, and that's the best way. We're looking for a new drummer at the moment, painful process, but you can't keep us down for too long!
