If you get a chance to see it my all time favorite film is Come Fill my Cup
starring and produced by James Cagney. He fought the studios to do this Film cause they didn't want him to make it. He blackmailed them by saying he wouldn't do YAnkee Doodle Dandy unless he could do this film.
John Wayne also got the Studios to let him do the Quiet Man one of his best other Wayne Favorites Stage Coach, Rio Bravo, Rio Lobo, Red River, The Man who Shoot Liberty Valance, El Dorado. The Shootist, Brannigan, The Sons of Katie Elder, and of course True Grit
Something to Scream About. Should be required viewing for anyone interested in the B Film industry

There are some people that are meant to be in front of the camera like Mat Damon, Anthony Hopkins, Morgan Freeman, Daniel Craig Christian Bale, Judi Dench, Halle Berry Eva Green,Jessica Alba, Brinke Steves, Debbie Rochon, Suzi Lorriane and of course Angenlina Jolie to name a few.
Then there are people like me that are meant to stay behind the camera. Something that I had reinforced of late. There are a few that mange to work both sides of the camera but I'm not one of them. My hat is off that mange to do to both well. But that is not me.
Things that get me going are when a woman tells me I make her look beautiful in a photograph or when a bride is looking at pictures I took of her wedding just a short time ago is happy beyond words.
When I can create those kind of feelings its better than any award and now I strive to pull people into my creations and forget what is around them
I believe Steven King put it best in an interview
There is a guy walking along a street and another guy approaches him and says come here I got something to show you and pulls him into an alleyway.
Gothya and for the next 2 hours your mine. Okay that might not be exact be its close enough.
I want to be the guy pulling the audience into the alleyway and for the next 2 hours hold them hostage to their seats afraid to leave for fear of missing something. Getting so lost into the DVD they're watching they don't want to stop it for ANYTHING. To create worlds, characters, lines that will be remembered days, weeks, months after seeing my movie and making them want to see it again and again. To clamor for the next one. That is my journey before me. I know along the way I'm going to fall down and make mistakes. Hopefully each time I do I'll learn a bit more as I pick myself up and continue on my journey. Until I can continuously pull you into the worlds of my creation. That's who I am and whom I want to be.
