I listen to more hip hop and embarassing pop than this would indicate, but apparently not a lot by any one artist. About me:
I've been in Boston for about four years now, and after much hemming and hawing and complaint, I think I may actually be starting to like it here. Right now I work at MIT and pursue lots of other interesting shiny things on the side, as per my lists of interests and stuff. I'm sort of in the middle way, trying to figure out what's next, and how it all works.
I'm ambivalently ambitious, and I take myself and my life seriously, but not so seriously as to be incapable of good wacky fun when the opportunity arises. I'm a media and culture junkie, both highbrow and lowbrow. I write semi-compulsively, and read fully compulsively. I spend the rest of my time walking around the city aimlessly, exploring, people-watching, and taking pictures, and hanging out in various coffee shops and dives, in search of good conversation and potent potables. I'm rarely bored, and hopefully by corollary, rarely boring. I'm trying hard both to be a good person and to be a grownup, but both are incredibly more difficult and complicated than they ever let on in school. I figure it will all come out in the wash with time, and along the way, I'll hopefully learn a bunch and amass a lot of interesting stories to tell.

Who I'd like to meet:
People who are kindhearted, curious and open minded and generally geeked out about the world and the people around them. People who are mature / serious / critical about life, but not without retaining a certain childlike sense of wonder and mischief and suchlike. You know... cool people.
