Thanks for taking the time to check us out. Rather than putting a bio here, I thought I'd try telling it myself. My name is JD Eicher, and beyond my love for music, there isn't a whole lot of romance to the story. Unfortunately, I didn’t grow up in the wilderness playing handcrafted pan flutes, and I haven't hitchhiked around the globe writing poetry and painting houses. At a very young age, though, music was very much a part of me. As I began playing, guitar became a release – no matter the source of the stress. Eventually, I started writing my own material, and I began performing in groups and as a solo act. It was the solo act that always remained constant, though, and I kept releasing material, hoping to find my sound. Now I’ve found some musicians – affectionately known as “the Goodnights” – who are helping me get there. They're a great group of guys that share my passion, and it has been wonderful working with them so far. We hope you enjoy what you hear, and we truly appreciate your support. I think that, with music, the only thing more gratifying than playing for yourself is knowing that your work resounds with someone else.
I usually don't listen to the bands that request me. Just beacuse it's Myspace and you get so many.. But your shit rocks. The bass lines are incredible, this was a very pleasant surprise. "Black Walls"'s lyrics are beautiful. Keep up the good work and keep songs coming! I'll definetly be listening. Come to North Carolina!
No problem! There are so many bands out there and don't get me wrong, I think it's great- However, there are only a certain amount of them that I would actually listen to. So just wanted to let you know that I think it's great that you're putting your stuff out there and allowing other people to appreciate your music.
Haha thanks- I didn't draw it, I can barely draw a stick figure. Well thank you! It's always great to see other people appreciating the same kind of music.
I definitely will. I currently reside in middletown, ohio, so let me know if you play a show a little closer than your current northwestern ohio dates.
Whenever a band sends a friend request anymore, I normally cringe at the thought of listening to them because more often than not they are just...terrible. But I took a chance and listened to you guys...and do not regret that I did. You guys are great and arrange the instrument pieces well. I like the guitar triplets on This Is Something and the plucked string melody is a nice added element on Black Walls. I dig it. Keep on rockin' guys.
Hey guys, thanks for the add! I really enjoyed listening to your music & I think it sounds great! As I was listening it reminded me of someone but I can't think of who that is at the moment...I'll get back to you on that, haha.
Anyway, Keep doing what you're doing & enjoy every minute of it!
Sweetheart--You guys were AMAZING tonight. Was great to see you after so many times that I couldn't make it. Haven't listened to your cd yet but the tshirt fits great and I know my daughter will be thrilled with hers too! You rock, kiddo. Hope to see you in January!
