J.D. was Born October 19th 1962 Upstate NY he is an American country music singer-songwriter. J.D.’S influences are Hank Williams Sr, Hank Snow, Conway Twitty, Elvis Presley & Johnny Cash. J.D. listened to Hank so much he wore the record out.Things in J.D.’s upbringing that seemed
to come together later on in life.
J.D. first became visible the in the entertainment arena starting at local clubs and open Mic Nights. J.D. frequentled local Jamborees and
also performing out solo or anything or anywhere he could play.
J.D. integrates classic traditional songs along with the new pop country into his live performances. It’s not Country if your not singin Hank.The goal is to satisfy a wide varity of musical tastes today’s and yesterdays fans of Country Music.
J.D. has enjoyed some of what he feels is the most successful and rewarding and that is interacting with the fans at every concert. For it is all for the fans who love Country Music.
J.D. covers songs by Hank Sr. or Johnny Cash the next minute he could be performing songs from Alan Jackson or Garth Brooks to
Toby Keith.

J.D. has met and exceeded a lot of goals in a very short time that few have ever achieved or are still working at getting there. J.D. has toured New York State playing from one end of the state to the other.
J.D. has had the wonderful opportunity to perform a number of times at Cortland Country Music Park and home to NY States recognized Country Music Hall of Fame. J.D. was approached to do some shows at the park after J.D. got up at a Ronnie Smith Show. J.D. sang 2
songs and the audience reaction was overwhelming. J.D. was quickly booked there after at the Country Music Park. J.D. has also provided free CD’s & Concert t-shirts to the Country Music Park for raffles to raise money for the park. J.D. has also provided free entertainment to the
park in efforts to bring the park back to where it once was and also so future generations of entertainers will have an opportunity to also walk the
same stage as the stars have played.
J.D.’s future is still being written with all the hopes and dream and wishes of those on the wall of honor at the Park as well as those in the hall of
fame. J.D. believes that dreams and wishes do come true
you just have to want it bad enough to chase that dream and make it a reality. In the fall of 07 J.D. will be heading back to the studio and rehearsals to develop a bigger stage presentation and show for
2008 and beyond. J.D. has plans to attend the George Jones University in Nashville held at Georges and Nancys Farm. This is so he can learn
and pass the teachings and stories to his children and audience members but also in respect to those that have provided all of years and years of enjoyment to Country Music Fans.
J.D. once heard Marty Stuarts motto -HONOR THY MUSIC
and lives it everyday and at every performance!
In the latest installment of news - J.D. will be inducteed in NEW YORK STATES COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF HONORS on October 28th, 2007.
This held at the Cortland Country Music Park. This is the first step to be selected to the Hall of Fame.
J.D.’s Nashville Ramblers has also been nominated for best Country in the USIAWARDS. This award show is in November help at the Palace Theater in Eastwood NY. http://www.usiawards.net/Home_Page.html

RON SACKETT
Ron Sackett has been playing for 30 plus years. He has played rock, and country music.Ron is also am on staff for APW rebels marching band as a drumline instructor. Ron is very proud of the drumline as well the whole marching band. Ron is 43 and lives in the village of Parish NY.
ON LEAD GUITAR/ BACK UP & SOME LEAD VOCALS
Dennis Dorwart age 52.Binghamton,NY.Pro guitar player and teacher for over 35 years.Former music major at Ithaca College and SUNY Binghamton.Has played country,rock,jazz and rockabilly.

ON BASS GUITAR
Gary Shortslef (aka - Moose)
Gary has been playing Bass Guitar since age of 13. He has played mainly Country Music but has also played Bluegrass. Gary also plays the Upright Bass on occasion. Gary’s uncle Chubby Shortslef (who at times plays Steel Pedal ) is a NY State Country Music Hall of Fame Inductee. Steel Pedal is not at all the shows currently, maybe in the future.
