We are looking for serious musicians to join us in the endeavor to have fun and spread around some original music. We have many originals, mostly within the folk rock genre....songs of love and politics.
We are looking to connect with other writer/player/singer contacts who also have their own originals to share and promote.
We emphasize the need for artists who can play as well as sing leads and harmonies. Voice makes all the difference in the world.
We desire people who are natural leaders or who learn easily, but who also know the importance of democracy within the group and who are flexible and compassionate, as well as professional.
***JD has been in the music industry
for many many years.
He is by no means a newcomer.
Although the web is a somewhat new venue for this band,
it is NOT a new band.
We are only under transformation.
We are still looking for serious musicians around the SF Bay Area to share and play music and take it on the road for a living. It is so very sad that there is a definite LACK of availability for serious full time musicians here. WOW!
We have been looking for so long.....no takers yet.
We are looking for another keyboard player, a bass player and vocalists, who are serious and hardcore drug free! No games, no bullshit. Seriously, people!
My cousin, Skye started her cancer treatment today. It was extremely hard on her. For those of you who don't know her story...She is 24 years old. She was just diagnosed with Stage IV Melanoma Cancer about 2 months ago. It was discovered when she was 24 weeks along in her pregnancy with her daughter, Landry. Skye's pregnancy had to be induced when she was 30 weeks along because it was so crucial that treatment be started for her IMMEDIATELY. Landry was more than 2 months premature. She was born on April 15th 2008. She weighed 3 pounds 9 ounces. Obviousely she is in NICU and will be there for awhile but she is very strong and thriving very well. Skye also has 2 young sons who are currently staying with family members. Skye started her treatments today and she received 4 doses of IL2. It was very hard on her. She is already holding more than 6 pounds of water weight, she had very hard chills and fever. They had to medicate her with morphine to get her through it. Her family is split up...Skye in one place in the hospital, the baby in NICU, the boys with family and her husband, Ryan, running back and forth between them all. This family is under severe stress and fear. They need everyone's prayers and support. Please help spread the word. Skye is being so brave. She even has a website to keep everyone informed. Everyone can visit her website and sign her guestbook. Reading all the entries will help keep her and her families spirits up. The website for her is free. It is sponsored by an organization called "Caring Bridge". It is for families enduring illness or injury. Skye's website is in Landry's name. Thank you all for your support.
