J.D. Valenteen is one of those guys who has been bouncing around the music industry for the past 20 years. J.D. got his first taste in the music business when he was 16 years old playing in cover bands and various studio sessions. After being discharged from the Navy in 1993, he jumped right back in the business playing and singing in the Tri-State areas cover bands. Within a year, J.D. started taking the modern songs of the time, and all other songs he learned from the eighties and brought it to the “Solo Acoustic” realm. J.D. has been doing it ever since; adding more & more material every year from his experiences from his working bands & his solo performances covering all music from classic Motown, to fun cheesy eighties, to the heavy nineties & modern music of the day. Never using a set list or lyric sheets, J.D. has the experience to read a room and deliver what the crowd wants. It’s all in a night’s work; a little skill, a little artistry, a lot of experience, and a whole lot of fun !!!
