Springsteen, Wilco, The Kinks, The Who, Townes Van Zandt, Flaming Lips, Willie Nelson, Bob Wills, Dub Adams and the K-Bar Ranch Hands (purely a genetic influence), and, of course... Waco, Texas.
Sounds Like
Beatles, Flaming Lips, Wilco, Kinks, I guess, I don't know. This is crap. It sounds like me.
I live and work in Dallas, TX. I manage a large corporate website. I write songs. I watch too much TV. I drink too much coffee. I feel guilty when I eat french fries. I'm married to a crazy little beautiful Filipino. I should get out more, but when I do, I just get drunk and act stupid. I long to play music and then, when I do, I don't want to be doing that. I'm obsessive/compulsive, though I tend to lean more to the obsessive side. Meds take care of most of all that, now. Every Sunday, I visit the church of the National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing. I dig Buddha. I'm a Catholic convert. I identify with Paganism.
I'm told I'm hard to get to know but that's because people assume there's more to me than there actually is - I'm actually pretty shallow. I often appear to be an asshole. I'm actually very nice.
I love and tend to overuse elipses...
I think there is an ancient burial site in the backyard of the house where I grew up. I used to dig up bones and shit back there. I want to be an archaeologist. I want to be a weatherman. I sing flat and I know it. I believe Born To Run saved rockandroll. Did you hear that? BORN TO RUN SAVED ROCKANDROLL AND YOU SHOULD BE THANKFUL!!! I think I could be a terrific dirt track racer. I used to (and sometimes still do...) have a band called Trainwreck.
This week we started a fan club website for Kinky Friedman and began a campaign to Rock The Vote. So if you're really want to support Kinky during his run for Governor of Texas we want to support everything you have planned and booked by listing it within our network and creating a profile on Kinky's fan club website.
Already we're generating thousands of visitors a day, but this is just the beggining Kinky will once again become the media focus across the country he was during the last Governor's race. This will generate tremendous traffic to promote those who support the Kinkster and help us Rock The Vote giving supporters places to be and people to see.
If you want one of our webtechs to create a profile just let us know.
Sincerely, Sean Robinson Texans For Kinky Social Club
