Bio of Bishop J.D. Webb

J.D. Webb is a native of Memphis, TN, born November 16, 1970. He is the third child of the late Jimmie Webb and Survirn J. Webb. Pastor Webb graduated from Overton High School of Creative and Performing Arts in Memphis. Also, he served at the St. Stephen Baptist church under the leadership of Dr. James A. Adams. While in Memphis, he sung with O'landa Draper and the Associates. He performed and wrote a rap on the Above and Beyond CD with O'landa Draper. Pastor Webb has shared in numerous recordings and concerts with many of God's chosen vessels in Gospel music such as; Yolanda Adams, John P. Kee, Donnie McClurkin, Shirley Ceasar, and Ricky Dillard and New G. Pastor Webb later attended Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, AL. He is a graduate of Stillman College where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology/Psychology. Pastor Webb served as Program Coordinator of Mental Health facilities all across Alabama and was interim Executive Director of United Cerebral Palsy of West Alabama for 3 months. After graduating from Stillman College, Pastor Webb remained in Tuscaloosa. He was licensed as a minister 1995 and ordained as an elder in 1998 at the Cornerstone Full Gospel Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop E.L. Palmer. At Cornerstone, he served as choir director, praise team leader, and as a member of the board of directors. While at Cornerstone, he founded J.D. Webb Ministries, Inc. and the Anointed Voices of Faith. In July of 2000 Bishop E.L. Palmer asked Pastor Webb to head the state of Alabama Youth division. Pastor Webb agreed to be the state youth director and founded the name (YC2C) Youth Committed to Christ. Pastor Webb stepped down from that Position to pursue full time ministry after 2 years. Pastor Webb held the position of State Historian for Full Gospel in the State of Alabama until his depature. In 1997, Pastor J.D. Webb married Lisa Heard of CampHill, AL. Because of this union, Pastor Webb and Elder Lisa Webb have three wonderful children, Rhema Princess Zion, Caleb Darnell DeAngelo Lamar). In 1999, Pastor Webb was installed as the pastor of the Zion Friendship Baptist Church of Eutaw, AL. He has been serving as the Senior Pastor of this great congregation since 1999. Zion Friendship is truly a church growing in the knowledge of the Lord. In 2003 Pastor J.D. Webb became Overseer Webb along with Overseer Greg Mullen to start The HIGHER GROUND RURAL AREA FELLOWSHIP. This reformation was birthed through these two men of God to focus on rural and small ministries. Pastor J.D. Webb flows in his calling as a present day Apostle that establishes and transitions ministries. Pastor Webb is the president of J.D. Webb Ministries, Inc. and the owner of a Christian book store. Pastor Webb is also was a provider of a group home for individuals with disabilities for 3 years. Pastor Webb is also an author of a book called Walking the Ministry Tightrope:Balancing God, Family and Ministry. In March 2006 Pastor Webb heeded the call to from the Lord that his time was up at Zion Friendship. Webb completed his 7th year at Zion. Pastor Webb began immediately on his new assignment FACC (Faith Apostolic Christian Center) was formed & birthed in his living room in Tuscaloosa, AL. On April 2, 2006, FACC held its first service at 1612 Queen City Ave. At this service, 41 people showed up and seven joined the church, three on Baptism. On July 31, 2006, Overseer J.D. Webb was duly consecrated to the office of Bishop in ICMF (International Covenant Ministries International) under Presiding Prelate Robert M. Taylor Sr. as the Bishop over Prophetic Ministries. The Lord has truly blessed Bishop Webb in his teaching ministry. Areas of focus are relationships, healing, restoration, administration, and youth. As the Lord uses the gifts that He has placed inside of Bishop Webb, receive your blessings because God has a blessing for you in the word of God.
