Biography

Back in January 2010 a fresh start was sorely needed. Following numerous failed line ups over the space of a couple of years, we decided to go back to our roots and reinstate ourselves as the 3 piece that has always been at the core of so much we have done from the beginning, right up to now.

With a new name, Jeaga, a fresh outlook and an enthusiasm to make music that is natural to us, we took a big leap of faith into the unknown! Would we be able to come up with decent material? Could we actually achieve what we wanted to with just the 3 of us? There was only one way to find out and literally going back to basics and finding our feet was the best decision we could have made.

And so we hit the studio...writing 10 tracks in less than 2 months at a level none of us were expecting, only gave us more confidence in ourselves and provided us with a sound that we feel is our strongest to date! The recording began in March with us deciding to use our own studio ensuring these recordings would be the best they could be. We purchased new equipment and not having the time constraints of a pricey studio holding us back allowed us to spend time trying new techniques, refining certain parts of songs, all in order to get a production level we were happy with. This has meant in 6 months the wheels are back on the wagon, and this time we are doing it our way!

Trying to conform, following a trend, being something that your not are all limiting factors and that just isn't us. Our music is very instinctive, powerful and melodic and at the heart of it are 3 guys having a f**king great time playing music!

And now, with the tracks ready for release...the next wave in this journey begins!
