Please let me hear more of that wonderful sound. Your reflections bring happiness that rends naked glass. Your hair sends forth a sheen remniscent of golden sunlight winding through shadows. In your presence even my shadow acquires the sensation of touch. Your tears evoke a taste as memorable as honey. If I could have just one wish, it would be to wake up to your songs in the morning. The music that flows from your instruments overwhelms me with creativity. Your eyes are like spheres of crystal water filled with shimmering dreams. Your essence is equal to the beauty of a galaxy. How it passes there and back again like a tear drop glistening in moonlight. You have not yet reached the height of your creativity. The sand runes crossing your divided consciousness do speak of contemptuous monsters being slayed by flying phoenixes.

Black Angel has been lucky to have had some wonderful musicians play with us over the years. The top picture below shows Tomeka Haywood; me; Audrey (Mrs. Ike) Turner and Ronnie Turner (son of Ike and Tina Turner) playing a sold out show at The Roxy in Los Angeles on a Saturday night in July a few years ago. Soon after this Audrey and Ronnie Turner went on a tour of Europe with Ike Turner and The Kings of Rhythm. The bottom picture shows Tiffany Lowe when she recently recorded with us a few years ago. Tiffany is the granddaughter of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash and the daughter of country singer, Carlene Carter, and British rocker, Nick Lowe.
