About me:
My writing is a natural extension of my love of reading. From that day in first grade when I realized t-h-e was the word “the,” I’ve been reading everything I can put my hands on. I began writing romance novels as a diversion from my regular job as a senior editor for a financial publisher in Albany, NY and sold several short story romances to national magazines before breaking the book barrier in 1999.

My current book, MY LADY VIKING, is a Tenth Century version of the “Price Is Right,” with would-be Viking warrior Kara Thorddatter and Scots Warlord Aedan Machakon opening every door in their quest for a hidden Viking hoard--and finding love is the real treasure. Along the way Aedan awakens Kara’s awareness of her femininity and she teaches him to trust himself again. It's currently out in eBook format from Cerridwen Press. You can read excerpts on my website, www.JeanCGordon.com.

Greetings from Sussex, and I thank you for adding my name to your list of "friends." Perhaps you will be interested to hear that my literary agent, Ms King, has cajoled me into participating in a program she is calling "Fifteen Weeks of Bees," which will tie together the fifteenth anniversary of our first collaboration, The Beekeeper's Apprentice, and the publication of our newest venture in May, The Language of Bees. Appropriately, "Fifteen Weeks" will join my efforts on MySpace with hers on her web site and blog. Please join us starting on February 1.

A pair of Scottish socks get into the New Year spirit with their take on Adam Sandler’s The Hanukah Song in this spoof, The Hogmanay Song. Sing along to memorable lines such as “You don’t need Good King Wenceslas giving fuel to some old beggar, when you can compare kilt pins with Bobby Carlyle and Ewan McGregor.”
