Daughter of traveling evangelists, Jeanette Thulin was born and raised in Sweden and has ministered with her parents and siblings through music and preaching many years. A talented songwriter, Jeanette started writing at the age of 12. To date she has written over 250 songs, of which many have been recorded and are being used by different artists, churches, and choirs around the world.
While living in Sweden, Jeanette attended the Gothenburg Music Conservatory for 2 years with an emphasis in Vocal Performance and Song Writing. In 2005, she finished her degree in Music at North Central University in Minneapolis, MN. While attending the university she was an active member of the NCU Chorale and Worship Live Worship Band and toured with the groups across the United States as well as England, Italy and Sweden.
After graduation Jeanette was asked to lead the North Central Gospel Ensemble, Soulful Prayze and also accepted a position as Music Director at Celebration Church in Lakeville, MN where she worked full-time for 2 years.
Her passion is to encourage others through her music. “I am not a preacher, but I preach through my songs,” Jeanette says. Her first solo album was just released in Oct of this year. All songs are original, written by herself and younger brother Jonathan.
Jeanette's music has been described as soulful, heart touching and powerful. She puts a lot of emphasis on the lyrics and wants her songs to convey the love of Christ and change lives for the glory of God.
She is currently doing work for the only independant Christian TV station in Sweden and also traveling in full-time ministry with her family.
