Hello and thanks for stopping by! I am currently in the studio working on a 3rd CD release. It'll be my first album without a full production and backing band. The album will feature Northwest musician/ singer-songwriter, Evan Purcell, on lead acoustic guitar and harmonies. The entire project will be an intimate acoustic experience. Recorded in Olympia by an experienced sound engineer, the project will include coffee shop favorites such as Bumble Bees, Oasis, Montana Mountains, and Beauty Queen. Not sure when it will be released, keep stopping by for the latest. Thanks for your continued support!
Lookin back from the beginning, I started playing guitar in 3rd grade, then gave it up to be a spitfire Tomboy. In middle school I really started to idolized singers and got back into music somewhat by joining choir and taking guitar lessons again. Quit guitar a second time because it just wasn't what my friends were doing. Damn those friends. My first year in college I took a group guitar class with a guy named Chuck Buser. Learned a few tunes from Guns n Roses and Extreme. Next thing you knew, I was off to teach myself how to play. The songwriting came shortly after I bought my first guitar in 1991. I began to use the guitar as therapy for the blues and what ever else came my way. From 1995-1997 I started playing my first open mics and gigs. Met a guy named John Bell and formed a duo band called Tresses of Annie that lasted about 2 years. Shortly following the split of TOA, I was encouraged to go into the studio and record my first CD with original material. "Driftwood" was a decent local success. I guess since then I've been playing the Puget Sound region, writing, and meeting lots of really cool people. The other day I counted 52 CD's I've collected from various artists I've played with and or met at venues. What great memories. In 2005, my sophomore effort,"Restless" was released at the Experience Music Project in Seattle, WA. It was a night I'll never forget thanks to manager Todd Buckley. Currently I play at random, a few covers here and there and many originals from Driftwood and Restless. Future plans are for more albums! New material is in the works! Lots of inspiring people, places, and experiences have led to new material. Look foward to meeting you! Driftwood and Restless are on CD Baby.com and you can get more info at my website www.jeanlizabeth.com Thanks for taking your time to read this bio!

Hey Jeanlizabeth, A friend's band up your way just had their instruments stolen - The Drews in Tahuya, WA. Someone broke into their house and stole 5 guitars - one was a family heirloom - an old Fender White Telecaster. There's pics of the stolen guitars on my site at www. screamingstone. com Hoping you can help spread the word around your area. Thanks and rock on!
